Snorkeling in St. Maarten

Recommended Posts

My husband and I had a great day of snorkeling at Little Bay Resort in St. Maareten. I included their web site so you can take a look http://www.divilittlebay.com/divilittlebay/resort.asp. We actually went as a shore excursion with NCL Sky, but you can take a 5-10 minute cab ride and use their facilities for a small charge. If you walk all the way to the left of the beach, the best snorkeling is around the rocks at the edge of the property. They have equipment rental on the beach (also have sailboats, kayaks, floats) and we loved resting on the large swim platform out in the water. We are cruising HAL next March and will return to this same spot for the day!!:)

Taking a cab on your own is a GREAT idea.

Experience St. Maarten has many snorkeling suggestions. The last one mentioned, Little Bay, is Divi.

I would also add that there is usually some decent snorkeling at Orient. There are three small reefs that run out at a 45 degree angle to the right from Pedro's, adjacent to Club Orient.
