Roxanna is leaving

On our recent Celebrity cruise we had the privilege and I mean privilege to have Roxanna as our Captains Club Hostess. I had read about her on the boards but to be honest the praise here understated the charm and caring nature of this delightful lady who had such a wonderful set of personal values. The sad news is that this sailing is Roxanna's last and she will be leaving Celebrity when the ship docks in LA on 8 December at the end of her current contract. Roxanna was working on Celebrity to ensure she had sufficient funds to renovate her elderly parents house and care for them. Her parents are now in poor health and she wishes to be nearer them. If any of you can get to Turkey (unfortunately though I do not know where but someone may have her email address)- Roxanna is returning to her previous profession and first love as a Dancer at at resort in Southern Turkey and will only be a short flight away from her family in Romania. A delightful girl she will be sorely missed on Celebrity

Too bad. She is indeed one of the best. I am glad for her that she will have the funds to do what she needs to for her parents.

I will touch base with her and find out the name of the resort. We sailed with her on the Galaxy in 2005 and have kept in touch ever since.
