Port Canaveral Parking?

We're driving down to Port Canaveral and leaving on 12/10. Is there parking near the port? Any suggestions on the best place to park?

 

Also, when should we plan to arrive? Not sure how early we'll be able to embark. TIA! :)

Yes, there is parking at the port. It is very easy to navigate. We usually drop our luggage and assign one person to park the car. You can most likely embark by noon. Here is the parking info:

PARKING: $12 per day (rates subject to change by the Port Authority)

 

* Terminal #10: 6-story, parking garage with 24-hour surveillance.

* Terminal #5: Paved, gated outdoor parking lot with 24-hour surveillance.

* Full payment due upon entering the parking garage/lot.

* Accepted forms of payment: U.S. Dollars; U.S. Traveler's Checks; Visa: MasterCard.

* No advance reservations required.

* Vehicles over 20 feet in length will pay $20 per day.

* Handicap Parking available with proof of valid permit.

Not much to add to Gail except many of the hotels allow you to park and sail if you spend one night. If you come early to see the beach or KSC it might pay to spend a night. They will shuttle you to the port and back.

Is there any other cheaper parking areas than the $84 a week? maybe that are not as close but will shuttle you to the port. we are driving down from jacksonville.

You may want to contact Country Inn and Suites. They are closest to the port and parking is free if you stay there at $89.00 a night. I dont know about parking without a stay. Come early.
