Budget Car Rental FLL

Is it easier to use Budget in FLL and return the car to Quay Shopping Center the morning of the cruise? What is the estimated time it'll take for drop off and shuttle back - you can give me worst case scenario. ;) I found a really good rate through another company but didn't know if it would be more hassle going to the airport to return it and catch a shuttle back vs. using Budget and dropping at Quay.

I'm using the Budget at the Quay - for pre-cruise drop off and post-cruise pickup. Don't want to deal with the airport unless I'm going to be there for a flight, not for just a rental car.

Definitely rent from Budget and use the Quay outlet. It's right across the street from the port. Be prepared for about a 1/2hour for drop off and shuttle. You could always grab a cab they are always in the parking lot too. We did that because we didn't want to wait any longer, cost us $4.90. The people at the Quay are also very nice and efficient.
