On Ship Bars/Clubs closing times?

Hi my wife and I are first time cruisers. We are also from New Orleans and the idea of a bar or club closing isn't something we are used to dealing with.

In any event, I was reading another post that said someone had ordered beer past closing time of the clubs/bars. What time do these places on the ship generally close?

I've been on 6 cruises about to go on my 7th in December. On all my cruises, the bars/lounges close around 3 or 4 in the morning. It can be slightly earlier or later though depending on the ship, cruise line as well as what kind of bar/lounge it is. The ones that will be open the latest will be the ship's nightclub/disco.

Hope this helps and enjoy your cruise. :D You will get hooked so fast!!!! :D

I would be interested in the answer to this as well! Where I live the bars do close, but not until 4 am so that's what I'm used to. It makes me cringe when I hear people talk about the bars around them closing at 2. That's so early. I hope the cruise ship ones stay open a decent amount of time :D

Ok, the answer got posted before my response, haha. Guess we were typing at the same time :)

The dance club closes anywhere from 2:30 - 3:00 a.m. Piano Bar/other music venue closes around 1:00 a.m. with their bars closing about 15 - 30 minutes before the venue shuts for the night.

The dance club is open the latest and then after that the bar by the 24 hour pizza counter is open until around 5:00 a.m. or whenever the last drunk stops buying drinks and staggers to his/her cabin.

The bar in the casino is open as long as people are gambling and spending money.

That is Carnival. I have found that RCCL and NCL to close their venues down an hour or two earlier than Carnival and nothing is open at 3 or 4 in the morning.
