What hotel to stay at in or near Port Canaveral before cruise-trip with parking?

Where is the best place to stay that is priced right and provides parking for duration of your cruise trip and that is close to Port Canaveral?

Check out the East Coast Departures for more information. With that said, we stayed at the Radisson at the Port and they offered parking for the week.

The Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport North offers parking for up to ten days for $20.00 if you stay with them pre or post cruise. They have a shuttle to drop you off and pick you up from Port Everglades. Not free, but less expensive than parking at the port. We lucked out and were able to use HiltonHonors points for a free room which is one reason we chose this location.

We also stayed at the Radison. They have a back parking lot just for cruisers and a van with trailor for luggage to take you to the port. You must make a reservation with time you want to go for this van when you book your room or as soon as you get to the hotel. They have that many cruisers staying with them and the van is full each trip! You can see the ship (Glory) from the hotel.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn and Courtyard by Marriott. They are next door to each other and have the same owners. You can use either restaurant and facilities. Both are nicer than average.

We like the Residence Inn. We are staying there again this weekend on a precuise stay. It is new, price includes hot breakfast, parking is free. Shuttle is 46 pp round trip. They were waiting for us when we got off the ship.

The Country Inn and Suites is the closest to the port and are a little less expensive than the Radisson.
