cruise-n-mom Posted July 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2004 I have seen several posts about the Duck tour in St. Martin and it looks like fun. Is it an appropriate tour with kids (ages 8 and 10)???? Also what is the approximate costs and what it the best and cheapest way to book??? gtaylor Posted July 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2004 We've seen the Duck Tour go by several times, but haven't done it. I know that at one time they were having problems, but don't know the current status of the operation. You can view their website here. The site includes e-mail and phone contacts. There ARE discount providers available, such as St. Maarten Discount Activities, but we have no experience with them
Nancy_Hawks Posted September 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2004 Yes it is very appropriate for kids your age. I took my 7 year old son and we had so much fun. They give you "quackers" to quack with and we were laughing so hard at some of the funny noises we could make with them. Lots of fun. Your kids will enjoy it. We booked directly through them at http://www.caribbeanducktours.com. We got a special "off season" rate in late August for $40 for adults and kids were free. My only complaint was when we booked the tour online, they seemed kinda flaky with returning our e-mails. We never really got any confirmation, but we also never gave them our credit card number either. Another word of warning, is that they only take cash if you pay at the time of the tour. gtaylor Posted September 4, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2004 Nancy; I'd be very interested in the date that you did the Duck.
Nancy_Hawks Posted September 30, 2004 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2004 I haven't looked at this thread in a while. I'm sorry I didn't give you an answer sooner. We went on Friday 8/27/04. Hope that helps.
