Bequia Posted December 5, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2006 Can anyone recommend a good place near the Hyatt Pier 66 to stock up on beer and wine pre-cruise? Thank you so much for your help! :D Julie, Theres a trolley service that stops in front of the Hyatt. For fifty cents you can hop on and take it on a 3 minute ride to the Harbor Shops plaza. In the plaza is a Publix Supermarket, a couple dozen smaller shops and restaurants and a liquor store called Total Wine & Liquor. Julie, I'm not exagerating when I say Total Wine is to liquor what Home Depot is to lumber. It's huge!!! If you can't find what your looking for there, they don't make it. ;) http://www.suntrolley.com/bus_route-maps/convention.html .....
signman Posted December 5, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 5, 2006 http://www.totalwine.com/storeList.aspx?state=FL&store=901 8,000 wines and 2,000 beers to choose from. Have fun. Also a small store just across the street, behind the Hess station, I think.

sharks48 Posted December 6, 2006 #7 Share Posted December 6, 2006 I can't recommend Total Wine highly enough!! We went in, told the young lady what we like in general, what we wanted to pay, and she helped us pick out six bottles of wine that were ALL outstanding!! Her name is Rosie, and it sounds like she doesn't usually work there, but she really knows her stuff.
