hrtbreaker Posted December 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Greetings & Happy Holidays, I did a search but was not able to find any conclusive information. I will be sailing soon on a Carnival ship out of Miami. Since I will be flying into the Miami airport, I'd rather not carry alcohol/soda in my checked baggage. Is there a grocery store and/or a liquor store available in between the international airport and cruise terminal? Maybe a grocery store is better as I'd like to stop and get a 12 pack of soda and a case of beer to 'smuggle' <gasp> on board. ;) Would a cab driver stop so a passenger can run inside? Thanks & happy holidays
mrdood Posted December 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Yes, there are plenty! Cab drivers will do what you tell them, the meter keeps running so they could care less... For specifics you can google or use yahoo maps.
sjcruiser Posted December 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Ask a cab driver or check the hotels in the downtown area. They list supermarkets, etc. in their "what's nearby, etc." listed on the website.
