morriscats Posted July 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2004 Just received our booking # from SkyAuction and our OV Stateroom is 4112. The little symbols say 2 upper berths. What does that mean? Do we have to both climb to our beds. Not complaining, just wondering. Thanks for any info. Karen
ladysail2 Posted July 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2004 Hi, it means that in addition to twin beds on the floor, there is room for two more passengers to sleep in the upper berths attached to the wall. If there are only two of you in the cabin, then the upper berths stay closed. Some folks sail with kids, or four friends to a cabin...all sorts of reasons, but your cabin will hold 4 people. Hope that helps. Enjoy your cruise.
sink Posted July 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2004 By the way, good luck dealing with the noise on Deck 4, due to the engine (generator). I recommend upgrading to a Cat 9 or
morriscats Posted July 20, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted July 20, 2004 Thanks, that makes more sense. I am not sure we can upgrade from SkyAuction but will try. Has anyone else been bothered by the noise? Karen
