Pelican Beach Resort

Does anyone know how far this resort is from the Port? What a cab ride would cost? Also is there anything nearby, restarants, stores? It looks

like a beautiful resort and is reasonable on hotwire but don't want to

be stranded.

Pelican Beach Resort, which by the way recently became a condo hotel with 1 bedroom units starting at $500,000, is just over 6 miles from Port Everglades. Taxi fare should be just under $20. Be sure to ask for a room in the new section.

There isn't much nearby in terms of stores or restaurants. The only restaurant nearby that comes to mind is Irelands Inn.
