Hampton Inn, North or Comfort Inn Airport

in FLL? Right now I am holding reservations at both these properties for 2 days pre-cruise and 1 day post-cruise in January.

 

We arrive on Friday evening so have all day Saturday to explore FLL so wondering which hotel is in the best neighborhood and is closer to the water taxi, beaches etc. Also I have seen bad reviews on the Comfort Inn property BUT have also heard that it has been recently remodeled. Has anyone stayed there this fall?

 

If someone can give me a recommendation, I would appreciate it greatly!:)

Have you guys looked at the Tripadvisor Website? They have reviews of atleast the Hampton Inn by recent travelers and probably the Comfort Inn as well. I can't vouch for the Hampton, but am staying there pre-cruise on 12/21. I will let you know what I think when I return.
