Scholarship @ Sea

We'll be sailing the Diamond Princess in fall 2007 and I'm intrigued by the Scholarship@Sea program. Can anyone tell me what types of topics are addressed and how frequently classes are scheduled? THX

The ones that I remember are the for cost computer ones. There were several on Photoshop. Also i think the cooking demos are considered part of the Scholarship@Sea program and they are free.

Like the previous poster stated, "Scholarship At Sea" covers a wide range of shipboard activities. In addition to computer/photography classes and cooking demos, wine tastings, ballroom dance lessons, napkin folding, fruit/vegetable carving, Martini demos, etc. fall under the umbrella of "Scholarship At Sea". There may also be lectures on topics like financial planning, future travel planning, etc. depending on the ship and availability of guest speakers. Be sure to check the Patter daily for a complete listing of activities during your cruise.

The program varies depending on where the cruise is going, the availability of instructors, the interest of the CD in scheduling activities.
