Oslo Hotels

Looking for a moderate priced hotel for 2 nights. We decided to go to Oslo before our Century Baltic cruise in June since Celebrity has taken it off of our itinerary. Will be using the train to and from the airport and also to do the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour. Thanks!

We stayed at the Thon Opera in late August, 2006. Great room was $250/night. Chose it based on location, not price. Hotel is adjacent to the central train station. We did the Norway in a Nutshell at the end of our cruise. The hotel stored our cruise luggage (at no cost) while we took the Nutshell trip to Bergen. Spent the night in Bergen and the next day took a late flight back to Oslo. Used the train to get back to the hotel and our luggage. Great trip. Norway in a Nutshell is not to be missed. It sounds intimidating but it is fairly simple once you get on that first train at 8:11 A.M.
