Chair hogs on Valor, Thanksgiving week

oh and as to show seat saving, we had friends on board and DID save seats. :p It's easy if you pick those semi-round booth seating areas, who wants to be knee to knee with virtual strangers? No one ever gave us a hard time and we never gave anyone a hard time when we were in the bench rows and asked "Is this seat saved?" and they replied yes.

Well, ummm, uhhh, oh nevermind :D

Actually though I agree with you about the seats in the theater. I can't imagine that specific seat is that much better that I would argue about it being saved to see a show. The deck chairs don't really bother us since we don't lay out in the areas where children gather, but I do think an unused chair is fair game if noone is around who is supposedly saving it.

I think from reading this thread that everyone is in agreement for the most part that reserving a chair for more than 1 hour is rude and the people should lose their chair. If a person is in the pool hot tub or bathroom or getting adrink at the bar near the pool tough it's their chair deal with it. If the person left to go play bingo hit the casino or something else (not that everyone tells the whole area where they went) they should lose their chair. If you have a large group of people take your chair and let the others get up early to get one or share yours with the group in seeing most of the time one person sit's in the chair and reads a book while kids and others hit the pool hot tub, goes looking for cuba. We are all adults and we should act like adults not savages. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. I for one can say that if i leave to go get a drink and i find someone in my char wiping their #%%@# on my towel i'm going to be annoyed and i should be. So be considerate to each other and share your vacation don't forget you need to spend a week at least with these people.

I think it's different with the booths-that's what they're for. :) Taking up an entire row of seats is uncalled for. Then the other people need to get there on time! Not fair that people that are on time should have to sit way in the back because a bunch of tardies might show up part way through the show!

You are an inhuman person spraying a dog with mace, you do realize that?

Please, obviously you are not familiar with areas that have lots of unmanaged dogs and cats running around, mace is VERY humane on the list of what gets done.

And if I ever saw you talking to a child in the way that it seems you are implying I would call a cop or ships security and get you arrested for sure.

I'm sorry, what country do you live in that can get someone arrested for talking to children that way - can you even cite a law that is broken? If children were peeking through a hole in a wall of a strip club, who is in the wrong the law abiding strippers or the children? Remember the whole point is that the children were not where they belonged...

What would Jesus do? He certainly would NOT call a cop nor ships security and have someone arrested... I am sure he would ask the kids to leave and sit down and engage in the conversation like an adult, but maybe you have not figured that out yet???

Read the post again... he was not stating how he would talk to a child, he was referring to a conversation that might occur between adults, in an all adult area, that would cause the children to ask their parents questions :D If the children don't want to be involved in an adult conversation, they should not be in an adult area... If the parents don't want their children to hear adult content, they should keep an eye on their children and set ground rules that adult areas are off limits... You can't get arrested for what DJ said he would do  Now, since the parents are obviosly not keeping an eye on their children and allowing them to frequent adults only areas, perhaps you should call the cops or ships security on THEM... Please tell me how DJ would be arrested for having an adult conversation???

He wouldn't sit in judgement of others.

...number one problem with most "christians" spouting the WWJD as clearly evidenced in this thread...

Nor would he hog chairs.

...and if we ran out of chairs, he would just turn something into more chairs:)

Yes my frien I am familiar and I would call the ASPCA if there were animals roaming around or return then to the owner if the had a tag!

You will get locked up for explaining sex to a minor for sure, and Jesus would try to convince you of the error of your ways and if you did not see the light you would most likely get punished.

And yes my friend I have figured it out, have you? He would try to discuss it, but punishment would be handed out if it was warranted.

I consider shooting them much more humane than the SPCA shelters. At least then I don't have to worry about anyone getting bitten trying to capture or care for it and getting rabies. Since everything in our area has to be quarrantined before adoption most strays end up being euthenized before they can be adopted out. As for returning to the owners, the owners are the ones I am trying to get to KEEP their animal where it belongs. An not out getting run over, getting rabies or other diseases, or attacking livestock, children, or other pets.

There's nothing illegal about explaining sex to minors in any country I am aware of. It would make sex education a very difficult thing if it was.

As for punishment, are you refering to the type where Christians are supposed to stone people for wearing synthetic materials like spandex and rayon (Lev. 19)? Or are you refering to the type of punishment where people who work on the Sabbath are put to death (Ex. 35)? Or maybe you just think he would turn the person into a slave and sell them (Lev. 25)?

Please remember to read, and follow, the whole Bible and not just the parts you like.

Jesus would punish someone???

Not the Jesus I know. You must be thinking of someone else.

He loves everyone, even the misguided.
