Hollywood Beach Hotel Help!

Hollywood Beach is just gorgeous. The bulk of the hotels and motels are on Hollywood Beach are still family owned mom and pop properties (now called boutique hotels). Most are one or two bedroom efficiencies. They usually book solid for the high season, some with weekly rentals, many with monthly rentals.

Marriott recently opened directly on the beach, the Westin Diplomat is on the southern end of the beach. They would both afford you oceanfront lodging.

Still my favorite beach in all of SoFla, safe, clean turquoise waters, family orientated. ;)

If you are not looking for any place fancy, you could use a suite (as opposed to a single hotel room), and you can wait to decide, I'd be happy to report my upcoming experience at the Atlantic Sands Beach Suites (see Tripadvisor review here http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34296-d519585-Reviews-Atlantic_Sands_Beach_Suites-Hollywood_Florida.html) after our stay if you are interested. Here is the motel site: http://www.atlanticsandsfl.com/. We have a toddler so having a separate living room is a requirement for us. We usually stay in condos or places like the Embassy Suites. I really wanted to be on the beach for our pre-cruise stay and we're priced out of all the suites at the upscale hotels on the beach. We'll be there next Friday and Saturday nights (before our December 24th sailing out of Miami).
