Question about Dawn mini suites

Dorinda

Recommended Posts

Hi kids -

A friend of mine has booked a mini on the Dawn in Febuary. It's B417. She's sailing with her mom. They have told her the bed is a queen and doesn't convert to 2 singles - but there is a single sofa bed in the cabin. Is this info correct? She's wondering how confortable the sofa bed will be. Anyone have any info or insight on this? And she's wondering if she'll need a bed board. Can they even put one of those on a sofa bed?

Thanks for any help!

Dee

(who unfortunately has no personal experience with a mini on the Dawn or any other ship!:( )

I haven't been on the Dawn, but have been on her sister ship the Sea Princess in an AC minisuite and we had the same concern. I was sailing with my mom and we did not want to share a queen bed. When we got onboard we were pleasantly surprised to find the beds in twin configuration. I believe all of the Sun class ships are like this, though I have heard that the aft AB minisuites will not convert to twins at all. Hope this helps.
