Fort Lauderdale - Breakfast on or near 17th Street

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, but late (10:30 or 11 AM) breakfast on or near 17th street? We are taking a red-eye from the West Coast and will get into the area late morning, and probably hungry.

There is a Denny's on the corner of 17th st. and highway 1.

Cant remember the exact location, but right by 17th street there was a bagel joint that made a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches. It was pretty good.
