When do you set up on-board account?

Do you fill out the carbonized credit card form when you check in at the terminal or after you are on board?

There is the credit card authorization form in your documents. Fill it out and present it during your check-in processing before you go on-board. That's the way it worked for us last time....cheers

The credit card authorization form is turned in with your other cruise documents at check-in, before you board. You're then good to go.

The only time this might be done on board is if there is an issue w/ check-in on the pier that they cannot do it for some reason or if there is a need to change billing arrangements.

I don't recall seeing the credit card authorization form available on the HAL site. Might be hidden some place or I've just not noticed it. Usually the form comes with your documents though we didn't get one for our last cruise. It's pretty short and easy to fill out at check-in. They're going to want to see the card you're charging against anyhow and I think they run it through a machine to see if it's still a good account.

No. There is none online so far as I know. You can fill it out ahead of time and simply hand it over when you check in. They just need a signature to process the charges to your card.

Don't forget to bring along the credit card, though ... because they have to take an imprint of it.
