Hotels in San Diego

We have booked the night before the cruise at La Pensione in Little Italy.

 

It had a fairly decent review on TripAdvisor.com, but I would defer to the more learned folks of this forum.

 

Anyone strongly advise against? There is still time to change

I am not familiar with that hotel. However, we have stayed at the Holiday Inn By the Bay which is right across the street from the cruise terminal. It's not fancy, but a very nice hotel. And we really enjoyed sitting out on our balcony and watching our ship come into port! Book early for a bayview room.

I stayed there a few times, and had no problems.

 

Great area, lot's of eateries around, convenient to the airport and dock.
