Mobile & Carnival future plans?

I have been away for several weeks (just been on the roll call thread) and wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything on it.. But has anyone heard anything new on what the city of Mobile, AL and Carnival plan to do in the future???

Wish I knew! The mayor occasionally throws a bone in the news about a second ship coming that will be doing 7 day cruises, but nothing any more definite than that. He did mention recently that cruise line reps (dunno what cruise line) were recently at the cruise terminal taking measurements.
