Parking for Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi

We are renting a car in Fort Lauderdale pre and post cruise. Where would the best, safest and preferably free location be, to park the car while we take the water taxi for a few hours?

The LaQuinta Hollywood hotel receptionist told us that the best place to park and catch the water taxi was at the Las Olas shopping center. We didn't go, so can't tell you how it was, but it is on the water taxi route.

There is also a lot by the Riverfront where you can park.

 

Enjoy! It's really a nice way to see the mansions.
