Tour guides in Rio

Does anyone have any suggestions about a reputable tour guide in Rio? We need someone to meet us at the airport and then to do some touring for a day and a half. Thanks. Maxine

In Januarry, '05 we used Luiz Amaral of Riolife.com. Luiz had an employee named Cecil pick us up at the airport, drive us to the sites we selected for 3 days (he offered some excellent suggestions) and then dropped us off at the cruise ship on the third day. We were extremely pleased with with Cecil's professionalism, friendliness, use of the english language and knowledge of the places we visited. Amaral is cited positively in the Lonely Planet's city guide of Rio.
