Question about trying the Crown

Hi! My husband and I just got back from the RCI Jewel of the Seas and it was a good cruise, nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible either. :rolleyes: We are thinking about going back to Princess for our next cruise which will be in December 2007. (We have been on 1 Celebrity cruise, 1 Princess cruise, 1 NCL cruise and 1 RCL cruise)We sailed on the Sea Princess a few years again and want to go back to the Southern Carbbean. Does anyone have any information on the Crown or recommendation for another ship? We would like to book soon so any information would be greatly appreciated. We are looking at the Crown leaving on December 1st.

I have sailed the Crown twice and loved it both times.

Is the 12/01/07 R/T out of San Juan?

 

I thought the Jewell was a beautiful ship.

 

The Crown is fantastic in my book but I have seen reviews that say they were not wowed when they entered the ship (Crown Atrium) often comparing a recent cruise on a Voyager class ship due to the atrium area on those. In my opinion the Crown is perfect. The stops from San Juan are excellent too. :)

I did the Crown Southern Itinerary and I liked it very much. Loved the islands and the fact that there are two itineraries, so we can go back on the Crown in the future for the itinerary we didn't already sail.

 

We tended to like the Princess Southern Caribbean itineraries more than any other cruise lines.
