Hotels North of Ft. Lauderdale; Anyone know of any?

DH & I are sailing on the 1/14/07 Radiance :D from Ft. Lauderdale. We will be driving a rental car on the Florida Toll Road from the Disney area. I have called numerous hotels in the airport/port area & they are either full or too high for the quality offered.

 

So, since we will have a car, there is no need for us to drive into the port area; we can stay cheaper further north.

 

Can anyone recommend any hotels in the $125 max range? We don't need luxury, but don't like shabby, dirty, unsafe........definitely, don't like bugs in our room! :eek:

What are your travel dates? That has a bearing on room rates.

There are lots of nice properties in the Cypress Creek area, just down from the Hammondville Road exit of the Turnpike.

Agree about the Cypress Creek area. I just stayed and the Hampton Inn Cypress.

There is also a Marriott Courtyard, and La Quinta in the area.

Boynton Beach - <1 hour from FLL

Hillsboro Beach - <1 hour from FLL

Coral Springs - 45 minutes from FLL

Plantation & Weston - <20 minutes from FLL

When I searched your date on that web site a number of decent hotels showed availability in your price range.

might look at embassy suites Boca Rotan- look like 111.00 on there web site-15 minutes north of lauderdale

West Palm Beach area is nice.
