Taxi price---Newark to Cape Liberty

Can anyone give me the aproximate price for a taxi from the airport to the port?

Fixed price is $30.00 plus tip.

If you happen to be staying at some hotels, i.e. in the Newarl/Elizabeth area, it is $40. Actually my driver told me 40 from the airport to the pier.

 

SO, plan for a little higher and be happy if it is less!

Is there any form of shuttle service from the airport to the pier?

I know the cruise lines have a shuttle, but it says it doen't leave until 2:00 and we will be there much earlier.

no....not that i know of, at least not yet.

 

honestly, i would just take a cab. it is a quick trip, but the traffic arriving and leaving the pier all kinda goes in one direction. it is maybe 15-20 minutes. took 5 or 10 to get to the entrance, and at least that long to get to the terminal building.

 

 

easy check in though.....
