Long Beach & Charley

11/06 - We went to Long Beach is a very nice beach which is next to Pineapple beach. They are really the same beach. We made an arrangement with Charley for round trip . There was some confusion as we dock at a different dock, but we found him. He was very nice and didn't collect the first half when dropping us off. He wasn't quite on time in picking us up and another driver offered to take us if Charley didn't show. I was curious to the amount and it turned out to be less than half of our agreement. We also found out that another party only paid $30 round trip. We were a party of five and was told $26pp. That was the best he could do. Unfortunately we were not happy and decided to take the new cab. We felt bad for going with someone else, but we didn't like the fact that we were being charged more. So for those of you going to Long Beach which is a nice place to hang out for the day because the water is calm and the sand is nice, don't pay more than $30 a bus load or $8 pp one way.
