Kids and Cayman

We will be cruising the western carib next July with a stop in Grand Cayman. My one daughter is 6 and the other will be turning 5 the day we stop in Cayman. We are trying to decide if swimming with the Stingrays would be appropriate for children their age. Anyone with experiences to share? Any opinions?

We took grandkids 5,5,4 &3 to the stingrays on Capt. Marvin's tour. Only one five-year-old grand-daughter was willing to get in the water with them--and then only in her dad's arms, but they all had a great time on the boat and enjoyed the stingrays from the boat.

We tried snorkeling with them too, but it was a little choppy and was too much for them.

They seemed to enjoy the tour a lot and especially the 'free' punch!
