Jaime's Mom Posted December 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2006 Can anyone tell me what some of the drink prices are on the crown? Examples might be rum & coke, screwdriver, fuzzy navel, jack & coke, etc. Any examples would be helpful. A copy of a drink menu would be awesome! Thanks. Eskwire Posted December 19, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2006 I paid $8.00 for DH's Large Long Island Iced Tea one night. I think the special drink of the day is always $6.50.
Colo Cruiser Posted December 19, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2006 Yes you can get a small med or large in all the drinks but those large ones are huge, especialy if it is a Pina Colada type that melts before you get to finish it.
friend of Eeyore Posted December 19, 2006 #6 Share Posted December 19, 2006 We typically got a medium - DH always had a margarita. A medium, to me, seemed to be 1 1/2 to 2 times the size of a regular "bar-size" drink here at home. It was plenty for dinner, plus maybe the theater, whereas here at home, DH might go through two at dinner, if he actually would buy two (usually switches to Coke after the first). After seeing the size of a medium, I don't know that I would have wanted to see a large! :D I think the mediums cost us about $7 for a margarita, mai-tai, daquiri, etc.
turbo46032 Posted December 19, 2006 #7 Share Posted December 19, 2006 Keep in mind that volume is not indicative of quality - while on the CB in '05 I was astonished to see how little alcohol was added to most mixed drinks; maybe this is what the official recipe calls for, but if you like your drinks, ehem, strong, step over to the 'how do I ferment my own moonshine using the cabin hairdryer and fruit from Horizon Court' thread for details  On a few occasions it was hard to tell the difference between the coctails and the moctails my youngsters had... dresch25 Posted December 19, 2006 #8 Share Posted December 19, 2006 On our first cruise I ordered 2 large Graygoose Orange vodka and cranberry juice and it cost me $27.00 I almost died, So if you only drink premium alcohol you will pay a hefty price, bar stock is much cheaper.
