Best Price for air West Coast to Miami?

For all the Northwest cruisers, what is considered a good price for airfare from the NW to Miami. Specifically, Portland to Miami. Right now it's around $400pp which seems high.

 

Also, is it really that much cheaper to fly into FLL? From my research, it looks like there's about a $50 price difference pp. Add to that the extra cost in transportation and I figure it's a wash.

 

One more thing. When should I start bidding on priceline for a hotel at the end of April 2007?

frankly coast to coast for $400 if it includes all the taxes isn't that bad...especially now. Look up at http://www.itasoftware.com for all airfares and combinations with other south florida airports.
