questions about the Miami Port

Hello,

 

We are coming in on Saturday morning, via air provided by Carnival. So we are being tranported to the ship by them also. My Mom would like to buy some bottled water before the hsip leaves. Does anyone know if there is a store within walking distance that we would be able to do this? This is our first time in Miami so we are not familiar with the area.

Sorry JoAnn, Unfortunately there are no stores within walking distance of Port of Miami.

You'd have to leave the entire port area in a taxi to go to a store. Your best bet would be trying to locate some bottled water at the airport. They have restaurants there that sell it. You'll just pay more.

Pick some up at your first port of call. Buying it at the airport or a machine at the port, etc. would probably be as expensive as buying it from the ship. BTW, the ship water from the tap in the Lido is perfectly fine .

thanks, that is something we did not think about. I had heard that the water is OK on board, but Mom wants to make sure. she has a sensitive stomach and does not want to take chances.
