Comfort Suites/Cruise Pt vs Ft Lauderdale Grande

For our cruise departing February 7, 2007, we are currently booked for a pre-cruise stay at the Comfort Suites on Federal Highway for what appears to be a very competative rate of $139.

 

I just got wind of a current promotion at the Ft. Lauderdale Grande for the same price. The Grande is certainly in a better location, and appears to be a bit nicer property, but no free transportation from the airport and no complimentary breakfast.

 

So the question is, "Given that I would have to pay for a cab from the airport, $15-$20, and I would have to buy my next morning 's breakfast, $10, is it worth trying to switch my reservation?"

 

I hope our resident Ft. Lauderdale experts will offer their opinions.

check the rates at embassy suites,, nice breakfast included.. and a i think they have a shuttle to the pier.. the florida grand is under major construction.. anything on 17th street is in a good location and just a couple of minutes from the pier
