Taxi's in Cozumel

I am a little concerned about getting a cab in Cozumel to get to Paradise Beach. I usually travel with boyfriend, but this trip is just me and my 19 year old daughter. From what I remember, it is a madhouse trying to get a cab there. Any advice?

Both of our trips on the Grandeur earlier this year were to Cozumel. And both times we went to Paradise Beach. Getting a taxi was actually very simple. There are plenty of them right off the pier waiting. I would recommend setting up with your driver, a return time, and he/she will come back to get you at that designated time so there is no waiting to get a return taxi. It all went pretty smooth this way. Good luck and enjoy.

We've been to Paradise Beach twice & had no problems. Plenty of cabs at the port & also at Paradise for the return trip. Have a great time!

There are dozens of taxis lined up waiting for the ships to come in. They have a taxi manager there running the show so it shouldn't be any problem. To Paradise beach is about $15-17.:)
