Cruiseador Posted July 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2004 Hi all! Is there anything to do in Belize that doesn't involve snorkeling, tubing, hiking, caving, etc.? We enjoy sitting on the beach and relaxing, but are also looking for something else "fun" that doesn't necessarily involve the above. Any ideas?
Navy_Chief Posted July 25, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2004 There's not exactly a whole lot to do in Belize other than the snorkling ect. except going to the Myan ruins. Belize is a very poor country and not much to see there. We went there on CCL Imagination in May '03 which was the rainy season and took the ship sponsored tour by bus to the ruins. It took 45 min or so to get there and the narators did point out a bunch of stuff in Belize City before heading out of the city to the ruins.Once the rain storm passed by we did get to walk around the ruins. A bit muddy but not too bad. However, I have seen better ruins in Europe than in Belize. It just happend that the stop was on the schedule.
