Spirit info?

Hi! I have sailed on the Wind but we are considering the Spirit for a quick week trip. Has anyone sailed on it? I would be very grateful for any feedback.

What would you like to know? There are quite a few of us that have sailed lately. And there are some really helpful reviews of the ship in the review section. You'll love the ship!

I sailed on the Spirit last month; she's a terrific ship and my family had a wonderful cruise. The first couple of cruises had some kinks in them, so I read, but I think they were worked out by the time we boarded.

Thanks for all the quick replies. Did any of you happen to have a balcony cabin? I have heard that the balconies on Deck 11 are right under the jogging track and therefore kinda noisy.

How was the entertainment? Did you have enough to do at night? When we went on the Wind last Feb. We usually did not have enough to do at night. The shows were beyond bad. On that particular ship the theater was hit or miss in terms of seating. The ship was stretched and there were poles in the theater.

The food was good. The spa was great! Thanks again

What week are you considering? Hubby and I are on 9/11/04 -9/18/04 from Seattle and I have yet to see anyone else say they are on our cruise - might be VERY roomy for us, eh?

No balcony for us... wish we would of...so can't help there. I didn't really like the shows very much but I loved Bud Anderson... he is very funny and we also love the Liars club or whatever it is. We went to the Galaxy of the Stars at night time sometimes too. Lots of funny stuff happening up there. Or go to the casino. My hubby and I saw some whales when we were hanging out in the cigar room one night. We never had a problem finding stuff to do and ended up staying up way too late most nights! I hope if you go...that you have a great time!

is anyone else going on the spirit at this time..don't have cabin assignment yet my t/a won't know until all the last minute up-grades, well see.. now have cat BD which is balcony. would be nice to get aquainted with others on same cruise before we go..

We are thinking of going on the 10/1 trip. It is a 5 day one. If we like it then we are planning on booking the 9 day southern carb. on it.
