cherie b Posted December 29, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2006 WE went in Oct with our 4 and 5 yr olds. They did lots of art and crafts. They had dinner two nights, they danced. I can tell you they were very very busy and my daughters never wanted to leave. We went Halloween week so things were geared towards Halloween week activities. We have been on rci and princess but they keep asking to go back on the crown. they never wanted to be with us either.
rebeccalouise Posted December 29, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 29, 2006 My son loves the kids club on every cruise line. It is ideal for kids 3-6. These kids love arts and crafts, games and just being with other kids their age. Your five year old will have a ball. Older kids need more nudging. I think because older kids (7 and up) are far more concerned with peer acceptance. They embarrass easily and are less apt to jump in. The little ones love though- are easy. Liza555 Posted December 30, 2006 #7 Share Posted December 30, 2006 My girls really enjoyed the kids program. One thing to mention is that the hours are 9:00am to 12:00pm, 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and then 7:00pm to 10pm, so the day is broken up into 3 time sections. You can pay extra for babysitting after 10:00pm
