Suggestions for a hotel near BOS airport and cruise terminal

Hi, we are planning our cruise for this summer onboard the Maasdam have never been to the Boston area. Could someone please advise a good hotel that would be located close to the airport and the cruise terminal. We have decided to not rent a car because we will only be in Boston for a day before the cruise and the day following the cruise but would also like easy access to the T so that we can see a little of Boston. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I guess what we are most interested in in what would be most easy, not so much what would cost the least.Thanks for your help

There are lots of hotels not far from the cruise terminal. Use this search engine to find one to your liking...hope it helps. :)

Boston is an easy city to get around in and the T is easy to use...lots to see and do too. Enjoy your stay!

distance to Fanueil Hall, all the sites and subway (the "T"). It's in the historic building that used to be Federal Reserve.

It being that the airport and the cruise terminal and the rest of Boston are actually fairly close to one another, you may want to chose your hotel based on the area of Boston that you wish to visit -- Fanueil Hall, the Aquarium and the North End; Beacon Hill and the Boston Common; Copley Plaza and Back Bay; etc. Still, Boston is small enough that you can walk (or subway) from area to area with relative ease.
