Movies on the Star

We are sailing onthe 1st and were just wondering what kind of movies are shown. Are they fairly new?

Typically, movies shown on a cruise ship are about 3-6 months old. That is, those are the ones shown in the dedicated movie theater. In your cabin, there will be 1 or 2 movie channels that run movies 24/7. The tv movies will include those shown in the movie theater, plus many others (both old and fairly recent).

 

I love the dedicated movie theaters on the Dawn and Star. They're a perfect size and the seats are comfortable, almost all with good sight lines.

I was on the 12/8 cruise and they were showing the most recent Mission Impossible, RV, and Pirates of the Carribean. There were a couple of others but I can't remember what they were..... I would rather read a book than watch a movie onboard.

We watched the movies in our stateroom, but had seen what they were showing since most were already out on video.

Does anyone have any specific titles? I hope there are some that I haven't seen.
