Quirigua tour info needed?

Has anyone been on this tour? I noticed that NCL runs this tour twice for $72pp-4 1/2hrs, being the ruins are close I'm sure there are 3rd party tours available. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I think the ship excursion is too pricey. TIA Rick

I did a little research and found out that this is a world heritage site. Gliphs include animals, which is a rare occurrance. The stones used for carving are of a harder than usual material. There are crafts available to buy at site. Go with Gus offers the tour for $60 and says it takes 4 hours. We are going. Hope this helps.:)
