James Smith was on the Conquest on our February cruise. Nothing impressive but it was our first cruise and I don't know the difference between a good or bad CD.

Can anyone tell me about Paul Santley? I was on Celebration last year w/ Big Tex and loved loved loved him. The CD that was on Imagination years ago did not make an impression so I don't remember who that was. I've heard lots of people speak highly of Wee Jimmy but nothing on Paul.

Anyone?

 

We sailed with Paul twice in 2003 and really enjoyed meeting him and just sitting and chatting. He was very visble and a truly nice guy!!!

Has anyone sailed with CD James Smith? What is he like? The best CD we have had Was Todd last year on the conquest. He was always on the lido deck, walking the hallways talking to people.

Sailed with him 3/18, and he's right out of the cruise directors handbook. Tired jokes, no spontaneity, just seemed to be going through the motions. I hope he's a vacation fill-in.

Was on the Miracle last week and the CD was Tori. She was okay. Never really saw or heard from her very much during the week. Just the normal announcements, show mc etc. etc.
