Who Do I Speak to?

On an upcoming cruise, I notice that there are quite a number of suites still available. I was thinking that I might ask to purchase an upgrade when I arrive. Who is the best person to speak to about this? I would like to work out the best price I can.

dmk,

If you don't find a pier coordinator to discuss an upgrade with, I suggest you check with guest relations as soon as possible. I did this on our Panama cruise and was put on a wait list for upgrade to CC class from 2C balcony. They contacted me about nine that night and offered me a choice of two cabins. The upgrade fee was only $10 per day total. I accepted and was very safisfied.

We've upgraded at the Pier many times (including twice to the RS). I always ask for the Pier Coordinator and sometimes I'm told there isn't one. I then ask for a manager and pursue it being extremely nice and friendly all the way. Eventually I find the correct person and they will have a chart with the price differences and you can decide then. I figure it is always worth asking about. Good luck and have a wonderful cruise.
