acowbyzcowgrl Posted January 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2007 We are having so much fun i almost forgot to check in lol! We are headed to Antigua tonight. All has been great so far. The only thing I didnt like was dinner in the dining room (Da Vinci) new years eve. Lemon Grass soup w/ crayfish salad SUCKS! Tastes like dead fish lol..but all else was good. The buffets have had good variety minus the usual bread fruit etc...and with the exception of a few items is completely edible. I have heard few complaints except from those who dont like buffets to begin with. The bed is NOT a cot...very comfy. Our room steward George is awesome and we've found all of the staff we've encountered polite and friendly as well. I think its kind of a give and take, if you aren't, they aren't. There have been a few minor glitches, but nothing big enough to even put a damper on our trip...not even my sunburn I got while swimming with the sea turtles, which was tons of fun. I'll update later....gotta go hit the casino...I've one $120 today!! Oh, before i forget. We have an "obstructed view cabin on Emerald Deck Cabin e224. the view is still superb. The tender is right below our cabin window and being on port side we've gotten a great view each morning. Definitely worth the discounted fare!! willysgrandma Posted January 3, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 3, 2007 You are bringing back fond memories of our Nov. cruise - we liked Antigua. Let us know what shore excursions you are doing and who the entertainers are on the ship.
BonnieSte Posted January 3, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2007 Thanks for the info! My mom has a room very close to yours. I am so glad you told me about the view. I am relieved. Do you feel much motion there? She gets seasick very easy. Cudos for even trying a soup that is described like that EW! LOL Hope the rest of your trip is just as great! mandiecandie5 Posted January 7, 2007 #9 Share Posted January 7, 2007 Hi, I hope you are checking back now that the cruise is over! I was wondering what order the menu themes go (what night is Italian, Caribbean theme, etc) and what was playing on MUTS at night! :) Any tips on good comedians, etc I would like to hear also. Hope the rest of your cruise was wonderful!
