Florida_chick Posted July 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Hi, We are getting married on Mariner of the Seas before it leaves port next year and will have approx. 30 non-sailing guests with us. What is there to do for the non-sailing guests between the time they board the ship in the morning, and the time we get married? Can they eat lunch on the ship at Windjammer (I have heard conflicting reports about this). What time do they need to be off the ship? And - for any of you who have done this from Port Canaveral... How in the world did you get your guests back and forth from the ship, if the parking garage does not open until noon, and they have to be there by 10:30? Did you leave them on their own for transportation, or did you arrange a van service or something? Thanks for your help!
dncheatham Posted July 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2004 We just got married on the Mariner on June 27. Our non-sailing guests were allowed to go anywhere they wanted on the ship and were allowed to eat in the Windjammer prior to our wedding which was at 1:45pm. The guests had to depart the ship at 3:30pm. As far as parking, there is a parking area for the non-sailing guests to use. Limited free parking is available in "Daytime Only" parking lots at each Cruise Terminal for persons having business at the Terminal or aboard the Cruise Ship only during the hours the ship is docked at the Terminal. Our non-sailing guest provided their own transportation.
