Dawn: Are pools (especially kids pool) open when in port?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I did a search a didn't get an answer. Do the ship pools remain open when in port? Especially the children's T-Rex pool? My kids are very excited after I showed them pictures of the kids area, and I wasn't sure how crowded they would be during the days at sea, I though maybe they wouldn't be very crowded when we are in port. Thanks

Not sure where you will be sailing to but we stayed onboard when we were at St Thomas and more or less had the ship to ourselves!! It was the only time our son went in the (main) pool.
