Buck - I especialy like this shot because of the reaction the figure atop the column must have caused amongst locals when it was unveiled. Where was it taken?

Hi Wit,

That shot was of the bridge at Regensburg. There is a sausage place at the end of this bridge that has been operating for hundreds of years and has the best sausages I have ever tasted!

Ah! the Wurstkuche! We used our limited daylight in PapaRatszytown to tour the Thurn-Taxis Castle with its private Christmas Market. We got to the riverside sausages after dark, walked out onto the bridge right past that column and never noticed it in the dark. I will have to go back.

We pulled into Koblenz at night and went on a walk in our housecoats! It was hilarious! You can find those pics in my Amsterdam to Budapest thread at the bottom of page 1.
