Anyone know of any information of the Barcardi Rum Factory in the Bahamas? I already know that there's one in PR but I heard a rumor that there is a small one somewhere in the Bahamas.

This well-known liquor manufacturer gives tours of its facilities FREE of charge. Established in 1962, the company has gained a worldwide reputation for producing excellent rum at reasonable prices. Make reservations in advance to take the tour through the distillery and learn about the distilling process. At the end of the tour, sample the Bacardi array of rum products. You can also buy rum at a large discount. The distillery is on New Providence's southern coast.

 

I am not sure exactly how far that is from the cruise ships, but I am sure someone else can tell you how much a cab ride to it costs.
