YS falls vs Mayfield falls-private tours

We did the Mayfield Falls and Dr. Cave Beach with A-Z Planners. We had a awesome guide who told us some much about the culture. Mayfield falls is small falls but it was beautiful and fun and our guide at the falls was amazing.

Thanks for the input. I need to decide soon! What is Dr Cave Beach like?

We are doing Mayfield Falls with A-Z Jan 17 (or 18th) This was chosen basically because of the extra travel time to YS but we are SO excited and it sounds amazing! Anyway, we opted not to do Dr Cave beach...we are going to do some shopping and maybe see Margaritaville (that will be played by ear) I have heard some good things about Dr Cave, but we are doing beaches the other two stops so decided not to do it in Jamiaca. I have been very impressed with all the reviews and the communication we ahve had with Belinda. I will definatly let you know when we get back (if that is soon enough)

When I asked the same question to A-Z this was their response~

"All tours start approx. 30 minutes after you dock and finish mid-afternoon.

Y.S. Falls is approx. 2 hours from the dock and Mayfield falls approx. 1

hours drive.

Both falls are beautiful but very different, with Y.S. Falls you swim in the

different layers and also have the opportunity to go tubing, the falls

itself cascade 120 ft and make for beautiful pictures. Mayfield Falls is

more active as you climb through the water, enjoy natural Jacuzzi and

waterslides as well as exploring hidden caves. There is a steep hill at the

end of the falls to get back to the bus so if you are not fit this may be a

problem.

Let me know if you have further questions I can assist with

Regards

Belinda"

I have asked several people here on CC about her comment "if you are not fit..." and I am confident that even the not so "fit" will be just fine

Whatever you decide, you will have a great time
