SherriM Posted January 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2007 Just checking to see if anyone knows how much internet access is on the Zandaam? We are traveling to Hawaii on Feb 4th for 15 days and we are trying to decide whether or not to bring our laptop? And then what our options would be for internet access along with fees. Thank you! Chivalrygirl Posted January 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2007 Definitely take your laptop, it can save you heaps of money, you can prepare emails etc. that way before you log on. It will cost you $3.95 to open an account and then you choose a package..75 a minute no package, 100 mins about $55 off the top of my head, 250 mins is about $100. All the HAL ships charge the same for internet use. Also having your own laptop means you do not have to wait for a ships computer to become free and you can use other hotspots on the ship besides the internet cafe. Hope this helps

Here is the link to the provider HAL uses. http://www.mtnsat.com/digitalseas/hal.htm Of course internet cafes on land charge a lot less, but you may not want to spend your land time in one.
