ergator Posted January 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2007 When DH and I toured Dominica we took lots of pictures in the rain forest. I used my Kodak digital and he used his 35mm Olympus. All the pics we took looked like fluffy clouds and nothing of the the scenery was decipherable. All we can think of is it must have been the humidity. It was either that or the demon pictures that were painted on the rocks on the mountainside. Any hints? I am thinking maybe an underwather camera for my next forage through a rain forest. mountainhouse Posted January 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2007 I think it's an issue anywhere in the tropics. I found this discussion on photo.net, cause I'm wondering myself. Good precautions mentioned in the last post of this thread: http://photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00Gsxh Mostly seems to have to do with warming up the equipment before you go out.
