Catamaran in Cozumel??

Recommended Posts

Yes, I am a newbie to CC. It will take a bit to get all the bells & whistles down. My hubby and I have been reading reviews for two days now. We are scheduled to leave on 3/25/07 RCCL, Radiance of the Seas. Has anyone else done this cruise? It has been two years since our last cruise. Reading the reviews has sold us on going to Sunset Beach in Jamaica, but we would also like to do some snorkeling in Cozumel. Would like to know if anyone has done the Catamaran Sail, Snorkel & Beach Break sold through the cruise line. Thanks so much.:o

Hello bamakiss,

I'm going to Cozumel in Febuary and I'm also interested in the Catamaran Sail and Snorkel. I believe there is a post in the Port of Call-Cozumel board, but no luck there either. If you find out anything, let me know :) I would love to know the exact stops it takes you too.

Have fun!

We always sail the Western Carrib route as we love this snorket tour. The guys are great, the water is sooo blue and they will take underwater pix of you and they will be available on the boat before you leave. There is as much beer as you want, and they take you to a great beach to swim and hang out. I have done this tour at least 7 times and it is the best! Jamaica I can leave but this is great.:D :D

We just did this excursion last month and loved it. The Fury catamaran was waiting at the end of the pier for us and the crew was friendly and professional with two immaculate restrooms. It was a great party all day snorkeling, floating on mats, kayaking and the sunset sailing back to the ship was spectacular.

You can get more info by Googling Fury Catamaran or go to webshots.com and search Fury Catamaran to check it out.

Enjoy! :)

You will love it. My wife and I have been on this excursion 3 times and plan to go again next year. Free Margarita's and Beer, great people on the boat and the time on the beach is great. We usually meet up with others for some volley ball and oh..more free Margaritas. :)

They served burgers on the beach, but . . . well, I just felt queasy about eating in Mexico since we've heard so many stories about the "revenge" that we passed on eating, although many people indulged and the crew practically swore it was safe. Besides, our excursion started at 2:30 so we had a late lunch and it worked out.

VERY IMPORTANT - the beach is a little rocky as you enter the water, so please wear aqua shoes.
